Hi Dingo... Ah... somebody who remembers the swords! Thanks for the comments! I have not made any in some years... this whole coining thing has sort of taken my shop over now. I did make a knife in 2006 and two in 2007. Perhaps I'll even do another one in 2008... but it's just as a side thing. What got under my skin was the grinding dust and the buffing compound. Coining seems a bit cleaner by comparison... though I end up dealing with lots of heavy greased bearings, chain hoists, and bags of hot lathe chips.
