Default Drawings of weapons engraving. Mexico. XVIII-XIX centuries.

I send the Internet address where you can consult a variety of drawings of different weapons (the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in Mexico). All documents are located in the Archivo General de la Nación de Mexico. These were obtained by judicial authorities as the objects of the offense. In some cases, weapons were detailed, and in others only engraved representing the contour of either metal, wood and bone. Guns, daggers, knives, machetes show us all that the engraving is a manifestation of our culture.
The person with an interest in further study of the history of engraved in Mexico, Archivo General de la Nacion of Mexico offers a variety of interesting images showing us rich well decorated pieces in various materials.

You can search directly the database of the National Archives. This way you can appreciate the images and find a variety of materials relating to the engraving. The Internet address is: http://www.agn.gob.mx/mapilu/index1.htm. I think the public service does not work on holidays.
