Default New to Forum

Afternoon, as a means of introduction, I'm a Kansas native currently working in Ohio but plan to retire out west in a couple of years.

I've been a custom knife maker for 20+ years (Hobby) and plan on getting into engraving at some time in the future. I use the moniker of Jaka on all my knives.

I also plan on taking a few classes in engraving as time permits.

This is a great community and I'm learning a lot just visitiing.

Thanks.

Thanks for the kind welcome. I tried to upload some pictures but am told by the forum they are too large. Tried to change their size on MS Picture Manager but no luck.

Hi Jaka,
Welcome to this here forum
Like SEngraver I would love to see your work.
If you are not able to put them in your own album, you might want to try Photobucket.com.
At this place you can upload your pictures and with a simple copy paste on the IMG something you can post them here
I guess the IMG something gives away that I am not the computer hero at al.
But with the photo bucket I can manege some pictures in my posts.

Question Re: New to Forum

I am in san antonio, texas and very new to the art. I have been practicing on electrical cover plates. I am a novice, but am willing to learn and take instructions. Would like to progress in this art.
Thanks

I have attached a few of the items I've made in the past. Not a large selection as I've not normally taken pictures of my knives although I've started to.

As to where at in Ohio I'm located; I live appx. 20 miles east of Lima, Ohio in rural Waynesfield, Ohio.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.
