Default About Time.....

Hello Forum Members,
My Name is Stephen D. Cox.
3 years ago, I stumbled across Hobo Nickels on eBay and got HOOKED collecting them. Before long, I got some lessons and a Gravermeister from a local master and got HOOKED on making the miniature bas relief's myself. With PRACTICE, Quality tools & World Class Engraving Instructors, I developed an engraving HABIT. Thankfully, I found support and encouragement from OHNS members & eBay collectors of Hobo Nickels. Their support has paid for additional tools, supplies & engraving classes. Along with the guidance from fellow engravers and the internet forums, I am able to learn, grow and expand my canvas to include: Knives, Firearms, Jewelry & Dies.
Today, my engraving HABIT has become a Full Time Hobby.
I have FUN engraving, hope you do the same.
Take Care, Stephen

Stephen, your work is always a treat to view. I especially like the derringer. Prior to these pictures all I have seen of your work has been nickles.
Don't stop doing nickles, but I am happy to see other work you have done.
Thanks for sharing, and happy retirement!

Thanks to you Stephen, my coin collection has had a great leap forward in quality. I love showing your work because all who see it are so impressed. Glad to see you are branching out. I look forward to seeing you at knife and gun shows.
Regards, Glenn

Steve,

Glad to see you posting over here as well as "over there." Great looking twist motif on the Bond derringer. I really like that sculpted knife bolster too.

Roger
