This isn't an engravers tool exactly, but I'm using it for all my tools.
I just spend a few days refurbishing the wood and putting in new felt, I like the idea of leaving the patina on the woof and metal parts. From what I gather it's from the mid 40s'. Oh, and it's a Gerstner ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I just saw one the same (model 42 I think) on Ebay in similar condition selling for $1,450.00.

Looks like a machinist chest. Nowadays it is very hard to find quality pieces like this. Very nice, I'm jealous. There is one just like his on ebay right now , the bid is over $200 with 4 days left on the auction.
