Default watch practice engraving

Here is a watch mainspring barrel I tried some freehand scroll on. I really need to work on shading!

I am begining to think your gravers are pushing and denting rather than cutting

put one or two of them under the scope and post a pic

how much of this stuff can be cut before the watch dies from balence issues?

got a new camera today so tutorials can proceed soon
it really shoots nice
