The prize fighter
The design of this coin comes from my imagination. After all those pretty girls with flowers, scarves, rings, and things I was ready to take a break and do something a bit simpler. I got a few old chainsaw files and broke them into short pieces then made some chasing punches from the tangs. The tools needed to do this coin are listed here.
Pencil .3mm, chalk, flat and square gravers. Two needle files, three chasing punches, one matting punch, and a burin for the eyes and eyebrows and quite a bit of patience. When it was completed I used my old Fordom flexible shaft grinder and a felt wheel loaded with jewelers rouge to finish the surface.
