Greetings !

My name is Dmitry Martinov. I'm a gold/silversmith from Latvia, Riga. I'm a beginner in engraving, but I'm practicing active lately. Soon I will show of my engraving. And for now I can show some of my silver work. Some of guys here already seen this and I believe that the others will like it too.

This is business cards stand made of sterling silver. With height of 175 cm, width of bottom square is 100 x 100 mm. Weight 243 gr.

I was in Riga a few months ago and was looking for goldsmiths or silversmiths but couldn't really find a lot.

leroytwohawks That was the government order for the "Blackheads House" silver collection. This building was build by German merchants in 16th century and destroyed in WW2. Restored in 1999. There was silver collection with 3.000 items, and everything lost during the war. Now people are trying to get the collection again.

Daniel actually the number of good goldsmith in Latvia could be count with the fingers on your hand. I will start the courses and will be passing the Master Jeweller Diploma this autumn :yo[1]:
