You can always get a rigger 8). The sand box idea is not new. It's actually used a lot with wood lathes (larger ones) to add stability and pick up all the vibratios an disperse them. But I guess that if you would vibrate so hard with your graver that the neighbors complain, that you have a different problem 8).
