The V angle is 90 degrees. There are four facets to it. The fourth one is down low. Phil is that one just giving a little more clearance on the bottom?

Phil, It does take some time to grind the taper facets on the bottom. This must be why you can get many sharpenings out of it and still have a small face. The taper is gradual. What sized face do you like on it?
