Engraving in the Movies
I just happened to look up at a short feature on Turner Classic Movies about Beulah Bondi (who played George Bailey's mother in "It's a Wonderful Life"), and caught this scene of the 1939 Lionel Barrymore movie - " On Borrowed Time".
Anyway, I haven't seen the movie, but would watch it now, just to catch a scene with Barrymore doing some engraving! |

Re: Engraving in the Movies
That is nice. They did take the trouble of getting an engravers vice on the set. Would be cool to see if he indeed scratched something.

Thanks JJ,
Why I enjoy those "facts that will never get me anywhere" is a mystery to me - but I have been called Cliff Clavin by my friends. Gordon |
